Hey everyone, I have a 2009 Murray riding mower. It has a 2.2 gallon tank that has a seam in the middle. It leaks whenever the gas gets to the seam. Is there anything that I can seal this seam with that will hold up to the gasoline? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Welcome to LMF...
There were a lot of fuel tank seam leaks...'
Loctite Gas Tank Repair KT .33 oz. #12020 is an epoxy stick that is suppose to work... Some have tried other epoxy products... From my experience any chemical repair is going to eventually fail...

That is a 'poly' tank and the only sure way I know to fix it, short of replacing ... is thermal welding it...
You can use hot air or an iron plastic repair kit...
OR with some practice and some scrap polypropylene plastic you can use a soldering iron like this fellow on youtube...
YouTube - Plastic Welding with Soldering Iron
The worst that will happen is you will end up with a rough surface that an epoxy may stick to better...
I have used hot air and also soldering iron repairs ... :smile:KennyV
