I've got a TS248XD with welded deck and mulching kit. I have a couple acres and lots of oak trees, so am constantly running over small sticks. I also mulch my leaves in the fall. I am looking for some heavier duty blades with a bit more mulching capability and durability.

I was looking at the Oregon G5 or G6 blades, but am not sure which model fits my mower since it's not listed on their website drop down menu. Anyone using them on this model mower or know where I can locate the information?

Any other blade options out there that might be a better buy?

Also, do the stamped deck and welded deck both use the same size blades? I think they do, but I recall the guy at the shop suggesting they use different sizes.

Thanks in advance.

If you go by your center hole and length you should be fine. Not certain but I'd say you should be able find a G5 or 6 that will work. I'd personally go with the G6 if possible..

Blade specs:

The amount of offset not noted. And kinda the width spec is main arm of the blade but is probably includes the air lift extension.

Check out the Rotary 12475. Won't be Oregon product but should not change the cutting height. they are 16-5/8 but only 2.5" wide.
