Mulch price

I am Going to mulch a yard and was wondering what a good price would be? Any ideas?

Paid $31 a yard or double shredded dyed mulch. I think the sell regular double shredded for $24 a yard.

I paid 225.00 for 8 yards triple shred dyed black. That's with free delivery and 20% off... I ordered the mulch from shady brook farms in newtown, pa. But honestly I'm not happy with mulch. It rained and seemed like the mulch lost its color fast. My neighbor bought from the same place and also said the same thing. We were told to look for lic. Root mulch.

What is "lic. root" mulch ?
I recall around $30, in York county, trucking is expensive...diesel at $4 per gallon...But my complaint was with the size of the "yards"....
But, NO complaint with the permanence of the black.
I've have to "grow my own" mulch..
