Mower only starts now and then!

We have a 2010 Huskee with an 18.5 HP Briggs and Statton motor. Sometimes when I start it it only has that humming noise. I have to jump it off, and it will start. Other times when I go to crank it, it starts just fine! I've checked all the cables and they all look nice and tight. Just put on a new battery too. It still does the same thing. Any suggestions?? Thanks so much!!

Try checking your starter or starter solenoid. If they are good I would say you might need to check and adjust
your valves.

Take your battery cables off and make sure that the thermals are clean
