Mow-Jack hits Craftsmans GT6000 Bumper

I recently bought a Craftsman GT 6000 54 in. Garden Tractor (Model Number 917 288612).
The tractor hasn't been used yet but I wanted to buy a Mow-Jack to make maintenance easier.
However, when I went to Sears to price a Mow-Jack (Pro, I believe) I noticed the bumper that's
standard & installed on the tractor hits the crank that rises the lift before the tractor reaches its
Mow-Jacks' optimal or maximum height. The GT6000's Bumper on Sears show floor was quite
scuffed up due to the tractor being raised and lowered with this device.
My question.
Is there another configuration of the Mow-Jack (i.e. side crank vs. top crank) to lift the tractor without
damaging the Bumper or having to remove the Bumper in order to lift the GT6000 to the highest height
via the Mow-Jack?

MowJack makes several models below the Pro, both of which have a vertical jack screw turned by a top mounted handle. You may be happy with either the EZ or the XT rather than the Pro. I have a Pro and I like it very much and use it mostly on my ZTRs as removing the deck on my Ingersoll 4018 GT is very easy to do.
The Pro has a winch with a handle that has a shorter radius second hole option on the crank handle but this still may not clear the bumper on the Craftsman GT6000. The jack screw MowJacks are OK, the screw thread pitch is similar to a trailer jack if you are familiar with them. Just takes a little longer to get there.
You may find that the front bumper on the GT 6000 has no function and remove it.

If I remember correctly, the handle can be removed and you can use a drill and a socket instead. I have the Mow Jack XT and I love the thing. Definitely a great buy.

I just got into zero turn , got a used unit and had to do same work on it before I could use it , wanted to jack it off the ground to change the travel motors and the blades so I looked around the yard and used an ATV jack . I drilled a hole thru a plate of steel and the jack's top bars and put a clevis pin thru it just so the plate didn't slip , jacked the back up with that and in the front used a engine hoist and a nylon sling , after it was up I was able to stick 4 jack stands under it and move the jack and lift , it was easy and fast and I didn't have to spend money or loose precious space in the gargage for another jack , 2 ATV jacks , one in the back and one in the front would do it for me -------------- I would really like to have one of those drive on lift tables
