Morning.

I've fitted a new battery hoping this was the issue. But no luck. It won't turn over. It was serviced last year, so I'm assuming an electrical fault. Potentially the under seat switch. It has on occasion done this before but with multiple clicks of the key finally started. How do I remove this switch please. Any other ideas great fully received. Thanks.1000013945.jpg

Looks like the seat spring plate [#15] has to come off. Remove the screws holding #12 on. Then depress the tab on the switch so it can pushed the hole. Assemble in reverse order.

As to where the grounding point is your best search of the wiring harness. As we don't have this mower in the US.

I've got that. Thanks, but ideally I need to know where the potential issues are. Where is the earth cable? How do I remove the micro switch under the seat?

Thanks
My Ferris was doing the same thing - click click click click then eventually it would start.. I thought it was a starter problem, but decided to go the easy/cheap route before any drastic attempts were made to fix it. So I bought a new key switch for about $15 and it started right up. That was 4 years ago!!! Not saying this is your problem, but worth a try.. Deke

I had a similar issue on my Husqvarna. Intermittent issue that I was sure was a safety interlock. Got good at troubleshooting the system. Jumped thru a lot of hoops including changing the seat switch and cleaning the ignition switch. Still intermittent issues. Started sometimes and other times not. Finally replaced the ignition start relay and it solved the problem.

I would get some jumpers out and a volt meter before pulling the parts cannon trigger. You can not only throw money away but cause secondary problems going down that rabbit hole. It could be as simple as a mouse chewed a wire. I remember one thread years ago where some guy was having the same issue then he realized that the blades were engaged or something like that and it had to be in neutral. Chasing the voltage is the first thing I might do. Start at the solenoid and work backwards following the wires.
