I have a 2024 grasshopper kohler deisel zero turn. Is 5w30 full synthetic ok for my mower.

Check the Kubota engine manual that came with your mower.
It's a diesel so, it's going to require a diesel engine oil. A 5W30 automotive oil ain't going to cut it. Diesel engines see quite a bit of soot in the oil. An oil blended for diesel engines is going to be required.

I agree with the others. Some flavor of Diesel oil that YOUR engine manual states.

These days many crankcase oils will be suitable for petrol/diesel.

The suitability of the oil has more to do with the chemical cocktail the manufacturer has added to meet new engine standards.

Do what the above respondents have advised - purchase the oil your Operator Handbook recommends. Do not be sucked in to something "better"??? that may be incompatible with your engines fairly primitive (compared with modern cars/motorbikes) technology.
