You do realize he said he had a 38" deck and not a 42" deck [which is on a 2005 model]?

I looked again... The mower body says 38"/12.5 HP B&S.....the engine is 15.5 HP OHV B&S....I got me a real "Frankenstein"

So I'm now thinking this Frankenstein has a different deck underneath it. Is there a method to identify a deck from another mower?
This deck has a cable tightening belt method with a single 4-5" od pulley.
