Cruising home from the big box lumber yard today and spotted this jewel on the roadside. Checked with the homeowner and he was happy to see it gone since he did not want work on it. Cleaned the carb, replaced the primer and fuel lines and it fired up. Had to reform the damaged air vane spring since moving the throttle did not change the speed and it only ran at a low RPM. Guessed at the spring setting for the air vane and now it will accelerate and decel. 1986 model very close to the model of my first mower which I bought new in 1987.
