Sat for a few year, cleaned carburetor. Replaced sparkplug, fuel lines and primer bulb which were all dry rotted or brittle. The trimmer will start, run for a few seconds then stalls. Any tips??? A Auto Doc's Lawn Addict Oct 19, 2024 #2 Make sure the muffler is not clogged. Also, it may need a carburetor, some just cannot be fully cleaned.
