Hi, I'm new to this forum as I have recently inherited a McCulloch M51-140WR.
My question is about the cutting height. I have it on the lowest setting, and have taken the blade off and sharpened it - but it still doesn't seem to be having much impact on my lawn. To be fair I cut my lawn quite short. I had been using a bosch electric mower - which I had added a couple of washers to the blade assembly - to make it lower. This works OK - but takes ages to cut from and back lawn - and avoiding the cable of course.
Is there anyway I can reduce the cutting height of the McCulloch? Can you get spacers? is there a 'hack'?
Any help/advice greatly received.
