LZ25KC604 kohler oil leak

I have a significant oil leak that I cant seem to find. the oil seems to be around the oil filter housing and collects all around the motor plate. has leaked for a LONG time and doesn't seem to effect anything but now that I am working on another issue I was looking for help in locating common areas of leaks-
 
Without the model number of the engine I can only give generic information. I would say it is the sump gasket/rtv sealant at the oil pan that is leaking. I could be where the oil passage is that goes up into the main block to feed the other bearings.
