LT 150 fuel line replacement

i have a 2002 LT 150 which has just started leaking fuel right before the in-line filter. Can I cut off an inch of the fuel line and then reattach to the filter rather than have to replace the whole line?

Yes, keep an eye on it & replace fuel line if it is dry rotted. Take old hose with you to mower shop so they can sell you correct size, inside & outside diameter, length of hose needed & new clamps, auto parts stores can also help you with this.
