I've got an old Craftsman/Murray 7-30502 8hp/30" rear engine rider that has a corroded-out mower limit switch and/or connector from the wiring harness. It has 4 wires (2 yellow, 2 black) plus a jumper. I would like to just bypass this switch because I only use the rider to pull a trailer (no deck). What's the best way to do this? Seems like I should be able to cut the connector off and hook up the like-colored wires. Any thoughts?
