My husband had the mower going and then he hit something and it stopped. He pulled it to get it going and pulled the cord out. HE put a new one one but now it is leaking gas and oil. Any suggestions as to why?

He may have broken the crankshaft which likely means a new mower (or new husband).

Bessy...
rekees may be right... (hopefully not on BOTH counts):laughing:

REMOVE the spark plug, lay mower on its side and slowly rotate the blade, you should be able to see if the shaft is bent... also check if it is leaking oil at the seal where the shaft exits the engine.

Where is it leaking gas? KennyV

my husband did something similar, we had a mower and now we get my dad to drive up with the ride on. He needs to fix it but were not sure what is actually wrong.
