ECHO ES 210 starts ok , after 30 to 60 seconds it will die. If I point tube up in air unit will run, when tube is pointed back down unit dies. Fuel line issue ? Fix for it ?

Have you checked the obvious things like the fuel filter, air filter and the spark arrestor screen?
 
Go to Home Depot get a tune up kit comes with the filter and lines and a tool to help you install the lines.

Yes it is a stiff wire with a small hook on the end.
You put the line in over the hook. Go into the tank from the fill hole and up threw the little *** line holes. Makes it so easy
