Lazer Z Deck Adjustment

I wanted to check the deck adjustments on my LazerZ S series.I want to try a 1/4” rise on the rear of the deck. But one blade tip is 3 3/8” and the other side is 3 1/8”. Deck looks fine, blades not bent, but I am unable to make the adjustment.

I followed the instructions in this link.
 
Exmark and Toro are similar.
I used to own a Toro.
Here's what I would do.
Cut yourself four wood blocks.
Cut 2 at 2 5/8"
Cut 2 at 2 7/8"
You want to place these blocks under the edge of the deck in line with the wheels.
Put the 2 shorter ones up front and the 2 longer ones in the rear.
Make sure that your mowing height selection is at 2 3/4"
Adjust your deck to where the blocks slide in and out with ease. Like using a feeler gauge.

Thank You, so for a 3” height I’d cut 2 @ 3 1/8nand 2 @ 3 3/8. But I think the problem is that when I lift one side of the back, the other side rises also. It is a 48” deck.

Update, are your measurements taking into consideration that the blades are recessed 1/2” ABOVE the bottom of the deck?
 
Yeah, I edited my post. Usually, the blade tips are 1/8" higher than the bottom of the deck.
So, you need to determine the difference on your particular mower. Deduct that difference when cutting your blocks.

Use a tape measure, correct tire pressure, level concrete. Don’t overthink it and get it to within 1/4” all the way around level.
 
Personally, I don't like the rear being 1/4" higher than the front. I don't get a good clean cut with the deck set like that. I get a cleaner cut with the rear 1/8" higher.

Think of it this way. Most push mowers can only be set to mow at level all around. Some people scoff at setting zero turn decks like that. Also, take a look at lawn tractors, the decks are usually set up level all around.
Play around with it. See which setup works best for your particular mower.

I think I may have to settle for good enough is good enough. I can get 3 points set but the last adjustment at the rear needs to go down, but loosening the adjustment doesn’t lower the deck only puts slack in the chain.

I appreciate your help.

Check all of the chain mounting points.
Something is in a bind.
Also, make sure the chains are all the same length.
 
Everything looks good to me. The remaining adjusting chain goes slack amd will not allow the deck to lower anymore.
