I bought a smaller roller last fall as I move from the country to town and did not need such a huge roller as I had. Question I have is how much is too much weight for the roller. The roller I have, you just add water for weight. Do I need to add more weight or is this enough? I have read that rolling is not good for lawn but I like to roll to get rid of thr frost bumps so when the kids play they do not roll an ankle. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

baker, welcome. Please describe "weight" in specific terms so someone can respond. "More" and "less" means nothing until that info is stated.

The roller is 36" wide and 14" in diameter and with water weighs around 200lbs.

Here is a magic secret formula customized just for your roller.

72 x 10 = 720 lbs.
