Check fuel filter or inlet needle valve located under the float in bowl under the carb .

Spray a little carb cleaner directly into the spark plug hole and then see if you can get the engine to fire. We need to see if the problem is in the fuel or mechanical system. At that point we can tell you how to proceed.

Is there gas in the tank? Hey, we are all human. Do you have fuel flow from tank to carb?

This time of year, most everyone tries to start the engine on old, last seasons fuel. Put fresh fuel in her. Run fuel stabilizer year round. Never have a fuel issue again.

Remove the carb. Turn carb upside down. See if fuel runs out all over the place. Keep carb low for gravity fuel flow.

Firing when Fuel is put in the cylinder means we probably have a fuel system problem. Were the carbs OEM or clones off EBay or Amazon? Second, did you replace the carb to block gaskets?

Wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen on this forum that being penny wise and pound foolish has cost people money. I could be wrong but the majority of the non OEM carbs out there are piles of junk and you get what you pay for.
