LA110 only runs with choke mostly on

This is my first post here, and was wondering why my LA110 will only run if I wiggle my choke between fully on and just off and back and forth. I have dumped the fuel and installed a new fuel filter. Any ideas, like maybe a fuel pump??? Alan in Las Vegas

A good carburetor cleaning would help. Sound like the carburetor is plugged.

OMGX22464_J6 Your manual, replace spark plug & air filter, check linkage at engine making sure it is operating correctly, with engine cold lubricate all linkages, springs, etc. with Liquid Wrench lubricating oil spray can. Let us know how it goes.

As reynoldston says, give the carb a good cleaning. Also, when you reassemble the carb, make sure that the float level is set slightly rich. This should solve your problem.
