Kubota zd326s Optima battery

Has anyone used an Optima battery with a Kubota diesel lawn mower? Also I've found out that the Kubota battery trays are not that optimal. I'm thinking of relocating the battery on the other side behind the left wheel instead of the right with an open battery tray instead of covered. As it is now, the positive(red) cable is strung underneath the engine. If I reposition the battery tray, the battery will be almost next to the starter and I can get to it easier as it is parked in my garage. Does anyone see a problem with that? Thank in advance for any responses.

No but we use them on all of the full size diesel tractors .

exhaust manifold and muffler are over there. That's the main reason Kubota didn't put it there. Radiant heat.

Thank you. I wish Kubota had figured a way to put the battery under the seat.
