Kolher CV460S Valve lifter adjustment

The valve lifters are clicking and I was wondering if I could adjust them or do I need to replace the lifters. I know they are hydraulic.
 
Usually ticking lifters are caused by old dirty oil that cant come out.
They can be stripped down and then squeeze them together to push the oil out.
The kohler command single cyl were common for that.
