Got in a Kohler CV14T---spec#1412, to repair. About the third pull on the starter rope, it pulls so hard the rope will break.
I don't understand the compression release on the exhaust valve. Nothing appears to be wrong with it. Could a weak lifter cause
the valve not to slightly open as it should to release some compression? Any ideas????
Thanks, gregjo1948
