Kohler 16.5 Install on Craftsman Mower

Hello all,

I recently pulled a Kohler CV16 off a craftsman riding mower to replace the connecting rod. All went well and I re-installed the motor. When I was done I had an extra bolt. Picture attached. Question is does anyone know where this bolt came from? I'm fairly confident it is a bolt from underneath. Thanks for the help.

If anyone has this mower/motor combo can you post some pics from under the hood? Any help appreciated. Thanks

To me that looks like a hood mounting bolt. I doubt it is a bolt which goes on the engine, it is a pivot point for something.
