Kohler 14 hp command fuel pump

Just replaced the fuel pump on my Simplicity with a 14 hp Kohler. Still no fuel coming out of discharge side of pump. Fuel flows from the tank to inlet side fine. I even changed the fuel filter.

Did you check the impulse line for the pump to see if it was broken?

Are you sure you have it right way round ?
Is it a mechanical. electrical or impulse pump, sota makes a difference.
