KM 130 R Weed Trimmer

I have a KM 130 R 4 mix, I was trimming around the trees and fence for about an hour, when I was done I noticed the gear box at the trimmer head was hot, I checked the grease and its full, never paid any attention before, do these angle drives run hot?
Or do I have a problem?

Many of the gear boxes I've seen have labels or a warning that the gearbox will be hot after use.

Thanks, never checked it before, wouldn't have this time but I wanted to check the grease, that's when I found it hot.
