I am selling complete FC540v engine assembly, need to know dry engine weight and suggestions on best/cheapest way to ship.

Use the bathroom scale to get an idea.. Of course all packing & /or crating materials add weight..
Once you get an approx weight packaged, measure it L x W x H,
Then check online, UPS, & USPS both have "Free" online package calculators.. Just plug in your numbers & weight. You'll find the best route to go.
