I know this is a lawn mower repair forum, but I figured I would try my luck. I bought a used Karcher G2500VH pressure washer with no water pump. Using a caliper, I found that the shaft from the Honda GCV 160 engine is exactly 20mm (a hair over 3/4"). I haven't been able to find this water pump anywhere. There are loads of 3/4" shaft water pumps out there, but I can't seem to find a 20mm version.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Are you sure it is 20mm and not 7/8". Everything I find says a 7/8 shaft.

Now Honda Honda GCV 160 comes with three possible shaft PTO ends 22mm, 22.2mm(7/8"), and 25.4 (1"). Now LM series does have a 20mm x 26mm tip then goes to 22mm the rest of the pto length.

I'm sure the shaft is 20mm. Also, it uses a square, 4-hole bolt pattern. The 7/8" pumps I've seen use a triangular, 3-hole bolt pattern.

Have you looked into Predator engines? They are a Chinese clone of the Honda engines in most cases.

Auto Doc the OP is looking for a pump not an engine.

Well there are four point mount pumps in the 7/8 line up.



But if you post the engine model and spec alpha numeric codes. Then we probably find what the PTO dimensions are and what will fit it.
