Hello all!!

I've been looking at riding mowers for a while as a means to entertainment, both for my own entertainment in fixing and modding them, as well as for making yard pullers for the little ones to be pulled around with. My fascination started when I decided to incorporate a ride-on train into my gynormous annual holiday display. So I got questions! Lots and lots of questions!! I'm sure I'll become a very regular member here and will contribute as much as I can, though my knowledge right now is limited. Nice t'meet ya!!

Got my attention. I thought I was the only one with that train idea.

That's one helluva way to make use of a lawn mower with a fried deck!!!!

If you are going to be pulling any load, try to build around something with good size axles and beefy axle bearings/bushings... a more robust transmission and low gears to start the load moving...
