John Deere M655 zero turn

I have a John Deere M655 zero turn. It starts and runs. It died but it restarted fine. Then when I tried to engage the mower deck the drive that runs the blades ceases and it dies.
 
start the mower, set the parking brake & raise your bum off the seat.
Engine stops = problem with the seat switch &/ or wiring to it.
