john Deere lt166 wont start turns over but not starting. I replaced the spark plug and but teaspoon of gas in spark plug hole did not start.

you need to test for spark other then just replacing the spark plug.

There was no spark so I looked for a wiring problem and found a connector that was popped out of its hole. i pushed it back in and then tried it again and it started. pretty simple fix. The wire must have been shorting out on the metal.
