Hi All,
Will I be able to add the oil filter adapter kit to my John Deere JX75 push mower with the 6.75HP 179cc Kawasaki engine? I can't seem to find enough information online to confirm or deny the idea, so I thought I would post here and ask the experts.
I did find part number MIA11866 is for the oil filter mounting kit, but I wasn't sure if the kit will work with the engine on my JX75.
Engine code: FJ180V-AS11-R
Engine family ID: KAXS.1791CA
E/NO: FJ180VB60211
The engine does have a blanking plate on the carbuetor side. The fuel line support is mounted there between the fuel tank and the carburetor's fuel inlet. I can get a photo of the area if it will help us confirm this is the mounting point for the oil filter assembly.
