ThxIf all pulleys and tensioner arms are moving freely the problem I found is customer is not using OEM belts. Had a customer about five years ago, with that same JD setup went through after market belts for two months before him finally took my recommendation to spend the extra cash for JD belts. Solved the problem.
How many hours on mower? Is this your mower you have had for many years, or working on for someone else? Check each idler pulley and spindle for slop and play, check tensioner arm for slop and play, check the plane of the belt by getting down at eye level and looking across the deck at pulleys and spindles. Do they all line up? Check deck belt tension. Check all belt guides and be sure they are in the right position.Hello all, just got here...
Trying to get a JD GT275 running for fall leaf vac duty and when I engage the blades, it throws off the deck pulley belt.
48" deck, belt on per manual config, it throws the belt as soon as the blades are engaged. Any ideas appreciated!
