Have an older garden tractor. GT275. It does not turn over sometimes. If I wiggle the key it sometimes will crank. I have the parking brake set and pto off and am sitting in seat. Does this sound like a bad ignition switch? How can I isolate the switch to see if it needs to be replaced?
Thank you

If wiggling the key makes a difference...yes, check your switch.

Find the hot wire on the back of the ignition switch...
jumper it to the trigger wire(the wire going to the solenoid(Check colors of wire))
switch should have "letters/labels on the different terminals.
