I have a John Deere E100 and I can't shift unless I pull the motion pedal up with my toe. I had to remove rear axel to fix secondary transmission variator. Screw came out. When I put it back together the motion pedal was floppy, not all the way up.
I just backed it out by pulling the lever on the rear while in neutral and the lever pulled out without any pressure on it. It released the wheels, but usually when I pull the lever out it has pressure on it.
