John Deere 240 Runs at low RPM in Choke, Stalls at Full Throttle

The above problem explains it all. I just had the carburetor serviced at my local JD dealership for not starting. Dealer found float not working properly. They cleaned the jets and needle valves.
Fuel pump works fine, Any ideas what would cause engine to stall at full throttle?

The engine on my JD 240 is a Kawasaki FC420v

If dealer just fixed it, they should make it right. Not getting enough fuel at WOT is possible.
