My JD Riding mower engine will not idle right. It idles too fast. Could it be a governor adjustment or could the governor be bad? I tried using the idle adjustment screw but the rod to the governor was backed way off and the adjustment screw does not touch nor affect the idle status. Anybody got any ideas? Would sure appreciate some help!
