john deer trans issue

I have a john deer 180 it has a 800-801 trans started to kind of skip while driving then lost all forward gears it will still go in reverse .I have had trans apart and didn't see anything broken inside was wondering if anyone has had this problem before or knows where I could locate a trans

When you say you had transmission apart and don't see anything, just what do you mean by that? Could the key be striped on the main shaft?
 
yes it could be I didn't have much info on trans I check gears and chains and all looked ok . I didn't know if there was a common problem or something like this

No not a common problem. Just what do you mean by checking gears? If the gears are all good, you have a working reverse, and you do have a transmission problem I don't know what else it could be?
