JD X530 mower deck adjustment stuck

I removed the mower deck from my X530 and when I reinstalled I was able to raise it up to the 4 inch setting but now the knob want turn and I can't lower the deck. Does anybody have any suggestion of what is going on? I recacll I raised the deck and the knob was set to 1 inch and when I had the deck all the way up I then moved the knob to 4 inch, I think that thew it out of whack??

Left side of page, scroll down to adjusting cutting height. Look everything over after you re-installed deck making sure deck secured at all points.

The deck height adjustment knob can only be turned when the deck is fully raised. You need to depress the lever and hold it or latch at height and then turn the adjustment. If you had issues with mounting the deck, it may be impossible to fully raise the deck. this can happen if the front drag bag is tightened too tight.
