After sitting for four months during the winter, I went to start my X500 and all there was, was a low growl and the engine did not turn over. The red ignition light would come on, but when I turned the key to start it just kind of growled and wouldn't turn over. I tried to jump start the battery, but that did not improve anything. I bought a brand new battery and installed it cleaning the battery terminals. With the new battery installed, when I turned the key to start, there is no ignition light and nothing from the engine. Nothing at all. Brake pedal is depressed and the PTO is turned off. What is really bugging me the most is that when I turn the key on, with the new battery, there is no red light that comes on the instrument panel. The battery is brand new and has a full charge. I thought maybe I had blown a fuse when I tried to jumpstart, but all the fuses are positive for continuity. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
