Found this spring when I was blowing the deck off. I've looked and can't find where this spring attaches. Does anybody know where this attaches and what's it for? The mower still operates fine.
I can't tell you where the other end connects, but it looks like the deck lift assist spring. The one that about jerks the lift lever out of your hand, when you raise the deck arms without the deck attached.
