It's covered in soot. What is this part?

Husqvarna YT48 XLT 600+ hours on Kawasaki 24 hp FR730V. Found this on my lawn while mowing. Does not show in parts diagram. Does anyone have any info that can help ID this part?

That is the exhaust deflector. Most likely should be mounted on the bottom of the muffler.
