Good day to all felllow posters!
I’m new to the forum, but have read and enjoyed the wisdom information shared here for years.
I have recently purchased for a measly sum ($40) a vintage OMC Iron Horse with a D-400 series 2 stroke powerhead.
It’s complete BUT the recoil spring had been previously welded and is now broken, so needs replecment.
Near as I can tell, it’s a 1957 model.
Are there any NOS or aftermarket springs out there, or will another spring retrofit this unit?
