More of a PITA than it seems like it should have been but not hard. Good news is that the mower is self propelled again 
These mowers don't seem to be too well thought of but I like them. The first one I owned was still going strong when I "upgraded" to the TimeMaster I had. I cut a lot of grass with that mower. The only maintenance it ever needed was a carb rebuild and a new blade.
That's it... just making conversation mainly.
