I have a 20HP Z-Force 44. It has 18 x 8.5 rear wheels. Can I replace with 18 x 9.5" wheels?

It would depend on what drives you have, how old is the unit?

That year 44 was apparently running the Dual Hydro-Gear IZT Transmission. I"d do some checking before I switched tires and make sure the IZT wouldn't have a problem with that tire size.

Ric seems to have the specification thing covered... I did this on my older snapper. I used their high traction kit which was comprised of 2 v-bar type tires that were an inch wider. The snapper salesman suggested them. And it worked great, down side was they were wide enough to crush the grass on the outside that the deck barely was wide enough to cut. Sales guy did warn me about it and I was happy with the increased traction. I never saw any issue with my hydros. I will probably do something similiar on my new one. You might also make sure they dont rub on the inside.
