My Names Tim I just joined the other day!

I'm a small engine tech but i manly repair cars.

I build alot of custom off road and racing mowers as my hobby ( theres one of them in my avatar pic)
I like anything mechnical or to do with building or fixing something: welding, engine work,electrical, automotive body work... I like it all.
I really like this forum so far, so thanks for those who made it and run it!:biggrin:

Here's a question that came up a couple months ago and nobody knew the answer:

Is there a category in lawnmower racing where you compete with non-self-propelled push mowers? I think that could be interesting - particularly if the distance were about five to ten miles.

I noticed you call your machine an "off road" Simplicity in your album....is that opposed to the street variety lawn mowers? :biggrin:

This one goes about 20mph and is made to do what a 2wd ATV can do.
Regular lawn mower racing is on dirt but it's all flat and smooth.

Lol.., I heard of something like that before too.., Don't know much about it.
Plus you'd never see me running around with a push mower.. haha:laughing:

Yeah that would be awesome!
They cost alot even used.
The mowers i get cost no more then $100bucks but most have been free.
