no real work around for this.
The switch has a hard soldered circuit board.
Some have removable relays and some are soldered on.
So apart from removing the switch and cleaning the contact pins and the conectors here is not much more that you can do.
You could thank all the thieving bastards who prosecuted JD representing their retard clients who bypassed the std safety features then managed to hurt themselves or some one else for the rediculous complicated circuitry .
There is a testing proceedure in the JD Technical service manual , but I do not have one for the bigger LX series, and their modules have a different part number so I will assume they are different.
There is also 2 different modules for your mower so double check your serial number if you decide to buy one
