Yes this is 140000 series. If you would have read my earlier post, you would see that this engine was replaced, and yes it is dirty from setting in the shed. All I was saying is it has the same carburetor. Futhermore it is not on a push mower but a riding mower. Thanks for your great help. You must have had a bad day. Model 140000 series 1000

I didn’t have a bad day, in fact I had a good day until I tried to help someone out, but I do know when I’ve met my match. You know more than I do (as I was mistaken saying it was an L-head) and maybe someone else will understand what you are talking about. Right now I’m thinking you are talking about at least two different carbs and/or engines, or more. This is worse than trying to troubleshoot over the phone, I’m outa here.
