I just had a new transmission installed on the right side of my mower which was still under warrantee. The problem was that when I started up a hill the right side tire would stop and the other wheel would start spinning. After 2 tries, hauling this thing 50 miles one way, I finally convinced the service manager that there was a problem with the tranny. Now that I have a brand new tranny on the left side it still stops once in a while and when I slack off the foot pedal and put pressure on it again it will engage. It sounds like a linkage problem to me but no one at my service center seems to know anything about it.
Anybody have a simular problem and, if so, how did you fix it?
