I am trying to determine the age of my hrx

I tried asking the mower shop but they couldn't or wouldn't help me.
The model is HRX2172HXA
Series number MAGA-1591849
Thanks for any assistance on this matter. I was just curious when I bought it. Its the oldest hrx I have and runs as well as my newest one.

Double check that model #. This site is about as extensive as I have seen & there is no HRX2172HXA listed. Honda #'s are mindbogglingly confusing.

If you bought it from a big box store or multi store dealer franchise then it could be an imported mower or a mower made for export so not on the Honda USA list.

Should have an EPA sticker that says this engine conforms to such and such year blah blah blah. Yours might be gone.

I recall that I used this link several years ago to find out the age of a used mower I acquired. Someone got right back to me.

Thanks for the help, I will try that link.. I'm pretty sure I bought this mower from a now closed lawn mower shop. So not sure why it wouldn't be a US mower.
